The Redlands Branch MTAC is an affiliate branch of the Music Teachers' Association of California. Many of our members are active music teachers who provide private lessons in the Redlands, Loma Linda, Highland, San Bernardino and Riverside areas.

The mission of MTAC is to pursue excellence in music education and advance the music teaching profession through innovative programs that foster artistic growth and achievement.
Redlands Branch History
The Redlands Branch was chartered as the seventh branch of the Music Teachers' Association of California in 1917. It recently celebrated its 100th anniversary. In addition to providing networking and continuing education opportunities for its teacher members, Redlands MTAC offers recitals, festivals and programs for local music students. We offer both non-competitive and competitive performance opportunities for students of MTAC teacher-members through events like our Holiday Festival, Spring Festival, and Bach Festival . Many students also participate in the varied programs offered by MTAC at the state level, such as Certificate of Merit, Improvisation Evaluation and Composers Today.
